Albertson

I went to Albertsons today to try and get some Cheez-its that are on sale 2/3 must buy 2. Well there is a coupon out there for Cheez-its 2/2 but the size is incorrect so my very smart friend Joelle mentioned that there is also Keebler coupon for 2/2 and that Cheez-its are made by Keebler. Ok so guess what it worked so here is the scoop.

2 boxes of Cheez-its 9 oz
-2/2 exp 4/30 tear pad found at Fred Meyer
=.50 each.

Ok I know that this is not a stock up price and the boxes are small but...my family and I LOVE these as a snack.

Fred Meyer Mighty Dog

A Big thanks to Cyrstal at Frugal Chic Living for this deal! Also check out her link for 1/1 KC BBQ suace.

Mighty Dog x 30, $15.00
-$3.00/5 from 3/28 SmartSource x 5
-5 Free 5.5 oz Mighty Dog
=$2.50 Overage, Get back $3.00 Catalina
(tax on this was $1.31)
I did get back a $3.00 catalina so Yeah!

I used the 2 KC Master Piece BBQ sauces and Nutter Butter cookies for my overage my daughter was so excited that she got cookies!
I gave 25 of these cans to my super sweet neighbor who has a little dog. This is one of the many reasons

Albertson and coupon policy changes coming!

I was at Albertsons late last night because I has a $3.00 cat that was expiring and I just couldn't bare to waste it. I got a few items and was looking around when I saw that they had their Kraft Single Melt Downs for $3.19 with a $2.00 manager special coupon on it and I knew we just got $1.00 in the 4/25 SS and of coarse I didn't have the coupon on me so I thought I would just go back in the morning. So after dropping of the kiddo's at school I went to the Indian Trail Albies and so my surprise they had marked down the Kraft Cheese to $1.67 and they still had the $2.00 manager special sticker on them. So I went to the front to pay for these but before I did I thought I would ask how this was going to work. The store director was the one that answered my question. He told me that me this "Well that makes them free but we can't pay you to take them lol". After I was done paying I said thanks for the help and then asked if he was new to this store he said he was. Then we started talking about coupons and Albies coupon policy. He told me that they are going to be changing their coupon policy in the middle of May and they are going to re-educate the checkers about doublers and overage. He said that they will no longer be allowing overage and gave me this scenario.

1 Cheese $1.69
-(1) 1.00 SS 4/25 cheese coupon
-(1) 1.00 doubler.
- money maker .31

Well this will NOT be allowed any longer, he said that they would only allow .69 for the doubler. They are really going to be watching for overage. He also told me that the Manufactures have notices a 16% increase in the amount of coupons being redeemed and that they are really watching what is being submitted for reimbursement.

This is just an FYI not to count on getting overage for future doublers. I can't remember what this Store Directors name was but he was extremely nice he did tell me he came from the Francis Nevada Store.

Safeway

This was done in three transactions and my final OOP was $6.27. I also found a dollar in the parking lot which I did pay with so if you take that in to consideration my OOP was $5.27. Before coupons and Store savings this would have cost...$165.38

You can't see all of the Yuban coffee's in the picture but there is 3 total. I figure that if I bought one at regular price with no coupons it would be the same as buying everything in this picture. I don't know if that is a couponers logic or not lol

I'm not going to do a complete break down because it is really similar to my previous post but thought I would share any way.

3 Yuban coffee's
4 Healthy Choice dinners
3 Yoplait Delights
1 Fiber one Yogurt
3 Biquick
1 7-up
2 Delimex
3 Betty Crocker Delights
2 Star Bucks Ice Cream
9 Hamburger Helpers
3 Betty Crocker Scalloped Potato's
1 Cottage Cheese
1 bunch tomatoes
1 Head Lettuce
2 Apples
5 Kraft Mayo
6 Green Giant Frozen boxed veggies
1 bunch grapes
1 Dannon yogurt

I went back to Fred Meyer's today to make a little money!

I did 9 separate transactions for the Betty Crocker Potato's

3 Betty Crocker Potato Pouches

(-1) .40 printable from Betty Crocker.com

OOP .97 and get back a $3.00 Catalina

I chose to do all 9 transactions in a row with out adding extra grocery's due to my time limit so when I was finished with the potato transactions I had $27.00 in Cat's and my OOP was 8.73

Then I went and got the rest of the grocery's in the picture (I also bought apples not in picture) OOP $1.71 after $27.00 in Cat's I splurged a little on the steak at $2.99 lb but I just felt like steak for dinner! All in all I felt pretty good about my OOP. ( I took half of these potato's to my best friend who is a single mom I love to help her out when I can)

Sears End Of The Year Clearance

I was so excited to get 8 pairs of girls fashion boots and one pair Mary Janes on clearance at Sears this last Sunday. I was on a little vacation in Missoula Montana to visit my mother when I ran across these. I was so excited I could hardly wait to get home to give my girls their new boots. Granite they won't be able to use them until next year but what a savings. The total before the clearance sale was $501.91 and I only paid $62.87!!! One pair of the boots is missing from this picture because my oldest wore a pair to school this morning. Any way I just wanted to share that I was told that Sears nationwide has all the winter items on clearance so keep your eyes out for the sign that says "TAKE AN ADDITIONAL 50% OFF".
Also because I bought these in Montana I didn't have to pay sales tax YEAH sales tax can really kill a deal if you know what I mean!
