When I went to Safeway today I saw these two coupons shoved way back on the shelf so I reached in and grabbed then. I was surprised to see that they were quite old and don't have an expiration date. One of them has a TV schedule on the back and the TV shows listed are Growing Pains, Too Close for Comfort, Price is Right at 7:00 LOL How old do you think these are? The Funny things is that I don't want to use them is that weird I alway want to use coupons :)
Update I just looked up the TV show Too Close for Comfort and it aired from 1980-1986 WOW even if this coupon was from 1986 it is at least 24 years old. Which is old in coupons years not people years of coarse!
I decided that with Rite Aid having a BOGO sale on Covergirl Makeup and there being a BOGO coupon out there I would order some off of ebay. I only paid .40 each including shipping so a screaming deal!
2 Covergirl True blend coverup $9.99 each
2 Covergirl perfect point self sharpening eye pencil $5.99 each
2 2% milk $1.99 each
-(2) BOGO Free coupons
-(1) 5/20 from video values
-(2) BOGO from Rite Aid sale
The cashier adjusted one of my coupons down .07 so my total was ZERO she was so nice .. thanks Lynn :)
I absolutely love this store and Lynn (Indian Trail Store) has always been extremely helpful so I gave her one of my BOGO Covergirl coupons as a thank you for always being so patient and nice to me while I'm trying to save a buck.
Buying these coupons on ebay was well worth the money and I now have a great little stock pile for my girls.

Well I was at Albertson's this morning probably like a lot of you trying to get some Capri Suns lol and I ran into a newbie couponer friend of mine and she told me that she had just bought 4 boxes of Kellogg's cereal and that it printed out two catalina's one for $4.00 and one for $3.00. Well being the venturesome person I am I decided to try it here is what I got.
4 boxed of Mini Shredded Wheat $2.50 each
-(2) $1.50/2 from a recent RP or here
oop $7.00 (this is not a price I would normally pay but I thought if I get back the $7.00 in cats it would be a wash)
AND... a $4.00 and a $3.00 cat printed
I then did this tx 2 more times and the nice part was that I didn't even need doublers
4 boxed of Mini Shredded Wheat
-(2) $1.50/2 from a recent RP
- $7.00 in cats from 1st tx
I also did one tx with Fruit Loops and use the (2) 1/2 from here
and doubled one so it would end up being $7.00 so I could just pay with my cats the cashier was nice and adjusted my coupon down so the the total was 0. So if you need some cereal this works out to be a pretty good deal.
I then rolled this into the Arrowhead water deal that Happy2bfrugal posted and my OOP was only $4.98 and I got back the $5.00 Catalina. What a day!
Saturday, May 1, 2010

The cool part is that Rite Aid is offer Single Check Rebates of $2.00 maximum of 2. So really this was a $2.98 moneymaker!
Ok so Safeway has their Seattle Best Coffee on sale for only $1.00 each and the great part of this is we got a coupon in the

Thursday, April 29, 2010
I went to Albertsons today to try and get some Cheez-its that are on sale 2/3 must buy 2. Well there is a coupon out there for Cheez-its 2/2 but the size is incorrect so my very smart friend Joelle mentioned that there is also Keebler coupon for 2/2 and that Cheez-its are made by Keebler. Ok so guess what it worked so here is the scoop.
2 boxes of Cheez-its 9 oz
-2/2 exp 4/30 tear pad found at Fred Meyer
Ok I know that this is not a stock up price and the boxes are small but...my family and I LOVE these as a snack.

Wednesday, April 28, 2010
I was at Albertsons late last night because I has a $3.00 cat that was expiring and I just couldn't bare to waste it. I got a few items and was looking around when I saw that they had their Kraft Single Melt Downs for $3.19 with a $2.00 manager special coupon on it and I knew we just got $1.00 in the 4/25 SS and of coarse I didn't have the coupon on me so I thought I would just go back in the morning. So after dropping of the kiddo's at school I went to the Indian Trail Albies and so my surprise they had marked down the Kraft Cheese to $1.67 and they still had the $2.00 manager special sticker on them. So I went to the front to pay for these but before I did I thought I would ask how this was going to work. The store director was the one that answered my question. He told me that me this "Well that makes them free but we can't pay you to take them lol". After I was done paying I said thanks for the help and then asked if he was new to this store he said he was. Then we started talking about coupons and Albies coupon policy. He told me that they are going to be changing their coupon policy in the middle of May and they are going to re-educate the checkers about doublers and overage. He said that they will no longer be allowing overage and gave me this scenario.
1 Cheese $1.69
-(1) 1.00 SS 4/25 cheese coupon
-(1) 1.00 doubler.
- money maker .31
Well this will NOT be allowed any longer, he said that they would only allow .69 for the doubler. They are really going to be watching for overage. He also told me that the Manufactures have notices a 16% increase in the amount of coupons being redeemed and that they are really watching what is being submitted for reimbursement.
This is just an FYI not to count on getting overage for future doublers. I can't remember what this Store Directors name was but he was extremely nice he did tell me he came from the Francis Nevada Store.
Sunday, April 25, 2010
This was done in three transactions and my final OOP was $6.27. I also found a dollar in the parking lot which I did pay with so if you take that in to consideration my OOP was $5.27. Before coupons and Store savings this would have cost...$165.38
You can't see all of the Yuban coffee's in the picture but there is 3 total. I figure that if I bought one at regular price with no coupons it would be the same as buying everything in this picture. I don't know if that is a couponers logic or not lol
I'm not going to do a complete break down because it is really similar to my previous post but thought I would share any way.
3 Yuban coffee's
4 Healthy Choice dinners
3 Yoplait Delights
1 Fiber one Yogurt

I was so excited to get 8 pairs of girls fashion boots and one pair Mary Janes on clearance at Sears this last Sunday. I was on a little vacation in Missoula Montana to visit my mother when I ran across these. I was so excited I could hardly wait to get home to give my girls their new boots. Granite they won't be able to use them until next year but what a savings. The total before the clearance sale was $501.91 and I only paid $62.87!!! One pair of the boots is missing from this picture because my oldest wore a pair to school this morning. Any way I just wanted to share that I was told that Sears nationwide has all the winter items on clearance so keep your eyes out for the sign that says "TAKE AN ADDITIONAL 50% OFF".
Also because I bought these in Montana I didn't have to pay sales tax YEAH sales tax can really kill a deal if you know what I mean!
